Do you seek a better quality of life?

DON Services provides personal assistant services (PAS) under both the Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) and the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) waivers. DON Services also assists with enrolling in the Medical Waiver program and navigating the complex and confusing service system. In addition, DON Services assists with community integration, respite, and nursing home transition services. The company offers services under various other programs including Area Agency Programs, Veteran Administration, and through private pay insurance.

Consumer
A recipient of care who has a voice in directing their services through participation in developing their own “Independent Living Plan” that creates the framework for all services being rendered. Consumers are the first and most important piece in the planning to receive in-home care.

Personal Care Attendants
Our valued attendants at DON Services provide you, the consumer, with your in-home care. The goal of DON attendants is to assist the consumer in maintaining their independence while adhering to the independent living plan. DON attendants are trained to meet consumers’ direct daily needs while having an understanding of the independent living philosophy.

Independent Living Coordinators
DON's Independent Living Coordinators (ILC) are a dedicated team that provides direct oversight and coordination of consumer care. The ILC is a bridge for communication between the consumer and their Service Coordinator, Managed Care Organization (MCO), and attendants. The ILC can also help consumers understand state regulation guidelines. While you, the consumer, are your own best advocate, ILC takes pride in assisting to in maintaining your level of freedom and independence.
